Machine concept

The FBF-X series was developed specifically for the machining of large-dimensioned components used in practice, such as those found in power plant construction, heavy engineering or steel and plant construction. Flexible Milling heads / heads enable precise and economical machining of complex geometries, even with very large workpieces. Vertical travels of up to 5,300 mm and transverse travels of up to 1,800 mm create exceptionally large machining areas and enable the efficient production of sophisticated large components. A highly rigid machine structure also ensures maximum process stability and consistently precise results.

Brief description

The CNC Floor type milling machines in the FBF-X series can be flexibly adapted to different production requirements and can be equipped with clamping plate fields, rotary tables, rotary sliding tables, Carousel turning tables or individual special clamping devices.

The option of Pendulum machining increases the machining time and ensures significantly higher productivity. The concept is complemented by customized machine enclosures and chip conveyor systems that ensure a clean and safe working environment for the operator.
