We have enjoyed a close partnership with MTE for almost 10 years. We, the company Avantec Zerspantechnik GmbH in Illingen, were looking for a suitable machine for the demonstration center of our newly built company headquarters at the end of 2014. It was clear that it had to be a powerful Bed type milling machine / machines in order to be able to map the full range of possible applications for our milling tools.

In addition to the quality of the machine, the quick and uncomplicated implementation of our special requests was also decisive for our research from the outset. We had to take into account the structural conditions, the room has a low height and the machine had to be completely enclosed for aesthetic and safety reasons. As we wanted to use it as a demo center and we do use it, we had to install a correspondingly large number of viewing windows and, while we’re at it, they had to be made of glass.

MTE had no problem with any of our special requests. After short, intensive discussions, a few revisions or additions to the quotation and a trial milling in Montabaur, the right layout was created very quickly. MTE’s speed of response in submitting the quotation and, of course, its flexibility in responding to our special requests were more than convincing. Within four weeks, we already had a finished quotation that took all our special requests into account. The machine was ordered in late spring and delivered at the beginning of September.
