Milling head workshop 

We have made it our goal to provide you with complete satisfaction in all matters relating to your MTE machine. For this reason, we operate our own milling head workshop in Montabaur. The technicians who work there are specially trained and qualified in our milling heads. They repair milling heads quickly, safely and, above all, to the highest standards of quality. 

High-tech and maximum precision 

Our technicians use state-of-the-art machines and testing equipment to maintain and repair the milling heads: 

• Initial fault analysis at your premises
• We then dismantle the milling heads at our premises.
• We carry out a detailed inventory of the object.
• In the next step, we agree the necessary repairs with you.
• Our trained technicians replace bevel gears, ball bearings, seals or other parts as required.
• We check the milling head for leaks and carry out swivel tests. 

• We subject the repaired milling heads to thorough testing on our own test benches. We also use a test routine developed in collaboration with the bearing manufacturer for bearing running-in and grease distribution.
• We measure the entire geometry of the milling head on the test benches and readjust it if necessary.  
• This means you are on the safe side – because we can guarantee you first-class work.  

Rental head service  

Downtime always costs money. But with MTE, you can easily avoid it in most cases. This even applies if your milling head requires extensive maintenance or repair. We can help you in all these cases with a rental head. This means you can continue working while we repair your milling head in our milling head workshop.  
However, during machine maintenance, our service technicians proactively assess whether and when a milling head needs to be serviced. This ensures that unforeseen downtimes do not occur in the first place.
