High-quality milling machines for the European market
Three decades ago, in the midst of adverse economic conditions, we took the bold step of founding our company from scratch. Our founders and employees had the necessary expertise to build high-quality milling machines, and the European market was demanding precisely such machines. However, as with many start-ups, we lacked economic stability. In the large milling machine industry, the high cost of materials is a real challenge. It requires financial strength to be able to produce at all. 

In the first ten years, we lived from hand to mouth and, thanks to our dedicated employees, we managed to get from project to project. Economic crises were rare, but they hit us all the harder. Our founders and the next generation quickly realised that in order to survive crises without sleepless nights, we had to achieve economic stability. 

MTE: A stable family-owned milling machine manufacturing company 
Today, 30 years later, we can proudly announce that we have made it. We are a stable, healthy family-owned company. Our bank rating is excellent, and we are able to pre-finance our orders without external capital until delivery. This independence from banks is comfortable in good times and reassuring in turbulent times – both for us and for our customers, who depend on the stability of a reliable manufacturer. Since our foundation, we have always managed our finances prudently, without skimping on necessary equipment, tools and training. We have planned and implemented our investments in real estate and production machinery in a sustainable and considered manner. We are very grateful for this comfortable situation today.

Consistently reliable service 
Our customers value this stability. They know that we will still be around in many years to come and will continue to provide support and service. This healthy state is also reflected in our spare parts supply and warehouse for the construction of new machines. As of 2024, we have €4 million worth of goods in stock for purchased parts. We have a casting material inventory of over 1.5 million euros and our spare parts inventory in Montabaur is around 750,000 euros. The nearly 50 rental milling heads at our German location for our customers, worth around 2.9 million euros, are also worth mentioning.
