MTE milling head workshop

The machine is at a standstill because the milling head is no longer working. Whether due to a defect, wear or other causes, this is almost inevitable in the tough everyday life of a machine. The decisive factor is how quickly you can get your machine back into production. And this is exactly where our milling head service comes into play. At our location in Montabaur/Westerwald, we operate a fully equipped milling head workshop. With technicians who are specially trained and qualified for MTE milling heads. With our own test benches, where we can check your milling head and test it thoroughly after repair.

Currently in progress: an SFK-6000 milling head The swivel milling head is part of our MTE RT 2000 bed type milling machine, which is located at Uebelgönne Werkzeugbau in Hagen. We tested the head on our test bench, checked the hydraulic circuits, tested the tool clamping and measured the head geometry. We then completely dismantled it, cleaned it and replaced two swivel bearings and all seals. A detailed damage report with an incoming inspection report, list of defects and photos is routinely sent to the customer. Then it is approved, assembled, put back on the test bench and returned to the customer. All work is carried out in-house, exclusively by our own technicians.
