MTE milling machines: What others say about us

We have enjoyed a close partnership with MTE for almost 10 years. At the end of 2014, we, Avantec Zerspantechnik GmbH in Illingen, were looking for a suitable machine for the demonstration centre at our newly built company headquarters. It was clear that it had to be a powerful bed type milling machine in order to be able to demonstrate the entire range of applications for our milling tools. In addition to the quality of the machine, the quick and uncomplicated implementation of our special requests was also decisive for our research from the very beginning. We had to take the structural conditions into account; the room has a low ceiling, and the machine had to be completely enclosed for aesthetic and safety reasons. Since we wanted to use it as a demonstration centre, and indeed do so, a large number of large viewing windows had to be installed, and, while we were at it, we wanted them to be made of glass.

MTE had no problem with any of our special requests. After brief, intensive discussions, a few revisions and additions to the quote, and a trial milling run in Montabaur, the right layout was created very quickly. MTE's responsiveness in submitting the quote and, of course, their flexibility in accommodating our special requests were more than impressive. Within four weeks, we had a finished quotation that took all our special requests into account. The machine was ordered in late spring and delivered at the beginning of September.
